Houston Open ends with Evacuation!!!
The Founder's Day Houston Open Poker tournament attracted more than 100 players on Saturday evening. The relentless rain we have experienced throughout the last 2 weeks continued and prompted the authorities to evacuate the area just as heads-up play began.

The heads-up match up was between long time APA members Robbie and Jonah Bowers. Forced to play whatever was dealt because of the evacuation, Jonah had 6 3 against robbie's 6 2, Jonah turned trips and won the 2nd Annual Houston Open, the trophy and $200 first prize. Robbie's second place netted him $100 and 3rd place finisher Casey Bullock,took home $50.
