Full Tilt Poker & APA Join Forces for Online Events

I'm happy to report we have come to an agreement with Full Tilt Poker to hold APA-member exclusive online tournaments.

Members who sign up for a full tilt poker account under APA will be eligible to play. We will start them in approx. 3 weeks which will give you all plenty of time to get set up. APA points will be awarded under our normal criteria based on number of entrants for the final few months of the season. However, next year we will actually have an "online" region to go along with our brick & mortar locations. We will use feedback from you, the members, before we finalize all our plans...please let us know your thoughts!

We have options on what $$ buy-in tourneys we can set-up. The response from members i talked to at this week's Wasilla tourney seemed to agree $10 + $1 once a week would be acceptable to our members...once again, let us know what you think. Furthermore, APA will add monies to the prize pool to give you even more value...The APA will receive absolutely no money from the tournaments, 100% of any buy-ins will go to our weekly winners!

To get started please e-mail us at info@alaskapokerassociation.com for an invitation. Please use an e-mail that has never had a Full Tilt account. To play, players MUST be APA members and MUST sign up through our invitation. As always if you need help in getting started or have any questions at all just let us know.

Our first tournament will be a trial tournament on Sunday, Sept 17th at 2pm Alaska time. The buy-in will be $5 + 50 cents.

As a thank you to our postponed Iditarod fundraiser ticket holders, the APA will pay for your entry fee. The tournament will be open to APA members only who signed up through an invitation from us. E-mail us and we'll send one right out.

One representative from APA, likely Melissa or myself, will play in the tournament under our AlaskaPokerTeam user name. There will be a bounty on our heads...anyone busting us will recieve a top quality full tilt poker hoodie!

Should be a lot of fun!!

Full tilt will also give you very generous sign-up bonuses!

Your very first real money deposit will be matched up to $600 !!
For example you deposit $100 in your account Full Tilt will give you $100 extra in your bonus account. You deposit $600 they will match it with another $600.

Furthermore, once you reach 500 Full Tilt points (you accrue them from every money hand you play..tourney or ring games) you will also recieve an extra $25 cash

These are the best in the business and a great opportunity for our players
